WM Pathology Panel
Following the example of the European MCL Pathology Panel, each participating country/study group designates specialized pathologists that serve as reference pathologist. The group is composed of renowned hematopathologists who provide specific diagnostic expertise and experience in translational research within collaborative groups. The tasks of the pathology panel are
- to provide standardized reference diagnosis for patients treated within trials of the ECWM
- to develop general diagnostic standards for the assessment of WM
- to built a virtual tumor bank of WM tissue biopsies and foster exchange of material for translational research within the network
The Panel aims to meet regularly for joint review of difficult and unusual cases, to share experience in the diagnosis of WM and to optimize collection and sharing of biopsy material.
